Tamil Nadu SSLC 2025 Result On May 16: This year, approximately nine lakh students attended in Tamil Nadu SSLC exams with 4,46,471 being boys and 4,40,499 being girls.

Tamil Nadu SSLC 2025 Result: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations is likely to announce the Class 10 SSLC exam results for 2025 on May 16. This year, approximately nine lakh students attended in the SSLC exams with  4,46,471 being boys and 4,40,499 being girls. In addition, 12,487 private candidates also attended the exams. 

The board exams were held between March 28 and April 15. Both practical and theory were part of the exam pattern and covered a wide range of subjects including Language, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and an Optional Language, as per a report on One India. 

To pass the SSLC exam, students are required to secure at least 35% marks in each subject. Those who do not meet the qualifying marks in one or more papers will have an opportunity to appear for compartmental exams.

In previous years, the SSLC results were typically announced in late April or early May and the overall pass percentage was 91.55%, as per reports. 

In 2024, the pass percentage was slightly above the previous year.
