OPSC ASPO recruitment 2018 notification: Odisha Public Service Commission will commence the online application process on October 10 on the official website, opsconline.gov.in.

OPSC ASPO recruitment 2018 notification: Odisha Public Service Commission, OPSC has announced the recruitment drive on the official website, opsconline.gov.in, to select eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Section Officer, ASO of Odisha Secretariat Services. In a notification released, OPSC has informed about 500 vacant Group B posts under Home Department. 166 posts out of which are reserved for women. The online application process for the same will begin from October 10, and the candidates can apply through a prescribed format till November 9, 2018. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a written exam that would be conducted along with a practical skill test in Computer. Graduates in the age group of 21-32 years are eligible to apply for the posts. Candidates shall have to deposit Rs. 300 (no fees for SC, ST, PwD candidates) along with the application fees. OPSC ASO Exam pattern: • The OPSC will conduct two rounds of the recruitment process • First round is an objective-type written exam consisting of three papers - Ist, IInd, IIIrd • The first paper is General Awareness (100 marks), the second paper for Reasoning and Mental Ability (100 marks), and third paper for English and Odia Language (100 marks) • The first two papers will be for 90-minute duration and the paper 3 would be for 120-minute duration • The second phase of the exam is for candidates who clear the first phase and will involve Skill Test in Computer Application • The exam will be for 50 marks and for 1-hour duration • Each wrong answer in both the rounds will attract 0.25 negative marks • Detailed syllabus for the exam is available in the official notification Important dates: Online application start date: October 10, 2018 Online application end date: November 9, 2018 OPSC ASO recruitment 2018: How to apply Step 1) Go to the official website - opsconline.gov.in Step 2) Click on 'Apply Now' link Step 3) Enter the required details Step 4) Click on Submit Step 5) Take a print out for the future purpose All the best!
