NTPC Recruitment 2021: The National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC)  Limited on Friday invited online applications for the recruitment of the Engineering Executive Trainee posts on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the positions online at ntpccareers.net on or before June 10, 2021. 

The corporation will be conducting the recruitment process via GATE 2021 scores. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 280 vacancies, out of which, 126 vacancies are for Mechanical, 98 for Electrical, and 56 for Electronics/ Instrumentation. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

Candidates applying for the positions must have a full-time bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with a minimum of 65 percent marks, as per respective Institute/ University norms. Candidates who are in their final year/ semester of engineering degree are also eligible to apply. The upper age limit of the candidate should not exceed more than 27 years as of the last date of the online application, i.e. June 10, 2021.

Selection Process:

Candidates applying for the positions must have appeared for the GATE 2021 examination. Candidates will be selected for the document verification on the basis of their GATE 2021 performance. "The selected candidates who belong to General/EWS/OBC categories will be required to execute a service agreement bond of Rs 5,00,000 ( Rs 2,50,000 for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwD categories) to serve the company for at least three years after successful completion of one-year training," reads the official notification.
