NIRF Ranking 2023 Released: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi (AIIMS Delhi) has once again secured the top spot in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) medical college ranking 2023. This prestigious central government-run institute has consistently been recognized as the best medical college in the country since the medical category was introduced in the NIRF India ranking in 2018. The continuous top-ranking position reflects the institute's commitment to excellence in medical education, research, and healthcare.

AIIMS New Delhi has also secured the sixth spot in the overall category of the Indian rankings 2023. The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh has attained second position in the medical category of the NIRF rankings. 

The top four positions in the medical category ranking of the NIRF 2023 have been retained by the same institutes as in the previous year. However, there has been a change in the fifth position, with Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education & Research (JIPMER), Puducherry replacing Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi.
