NEET UG Counselling 2023: MCC Releases Schedule, Round 1 Registration From July 20, Check Details

NEET UG Counselling 2023 Schedule has been released on the official website at mcc.nic.in.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the counselling schedule for NEET UG 2023. The registration process for Round 1 will commence on July 20 and conclude on July 25, 2023. Interested candidates can apply for counselling through the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in. The counselling for NEET is conducted separately for the All India Quota (15% seats) and State Quota (85% seats). Each state has its own counselling authority responsible for conducting admissions under the state quota. While a few states have already initiated the registration process for state quota admissions based on NEET scores, it is important to note that the timeline and procedures may vary from state to state.

The application process for AIQ NEET counselling, overseen by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), is yet to commence.

During the NEET UG 2023 counselling process, candidates will have a specific timeframe to fill and lock in their choices of medical colleges and courses. For this year, candidates can complete this step between July 22 and July 26.

Following the choice filling and locking period, the seat allotment result for the first round will be published on July 29. Candidates who receive a seat allotment will be required to report to the allocated colleges between July 31 and August 4.

In addition to the regular counselling rounds, this year there will be an opportunity for candidates to register for the stray vacancy round. This round is conducted for any remaining vacant seats that may be available after the main counselling process.
