NEET Row: JNU students have decided to continue their protest until their demands are met.
In Delhi, the students of Jawaharlal Nehru University protested over irregularities in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the UGC-NET examinations. Led by JNUSU President Dhananjay, protesters gathered at Jantar Mantar to voice their grievances, calling for the abolition of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
The protest, organised under the banner of 'India Against NTA' by the All India Students' Association (AISA), drew a significant crowd at Jantar Mantar. Speakers at the event included prominent educators like Vijender Chauhan, Jitendra Meena, Nandita Narain, and Laxman Yadav, who echoed the students' demands for accountability and systemic reforms.
The students have decided to continue their protest until their demands are met, particularly focusing on the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
