NEET Row: CBI Questions Ranchi MBBS Student In Connection With Paper Leak

NEET Paper Leak Case: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team is questioning a first-year student from RIMS in Ranchi.

Ranchi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) is currently questioning a first-year MBBS student from the 2023 batch of the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case, news agency PTI quoted an official as saying.

The student, residing in the girls' hostel at Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), formerly known as Rajendra Medical College and Hospital (RMCH), an autonomous institute under the Jharkhand government, was approached by the CBI earlier this week for questioning.

"The CBI team is questioning a first-year student. They contacted the hospital management on Wednesday, stating their intention to question her regarding the NEET paper leak. The management has been fully cooperative. On Thursday, the team continued questioning her and indicated further questioning will follow," RIMS PRO Rajiv Ranjan told PTI.

The official added that the student's parents had been informed about the situation by the management.
