NEET PG 2024: Supreme Court To Resume Hearing On Friday, Counselling Schedule Expected Soon

NEET PG 2024 Supreme Court Hearing: The Supreme Court will resume hearing on result transparency plea on October 4.

NEET PG 2024 Supreme Court Hearing: The Supreme Court will hear a plea regarding the transparency of NEET PG results on Friday, October 4. The petitioners have expressed concerns over the normalisation process and alleged discrepancies in the exam results. In the previous hearing on the NEET PG 2024 case, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) responded to concerns about last-minute changes to the exam. However, the court adjourned the hearing after noting the absence of representation from the Central Government.

While hearing the plea, CJI DY Chandrachud said, "We will keep it for Monday. The UOI has to be present. If none appears, we request the presence of any of the ASGs to assist the court." However, the court later changed the listing date, and the matter is tentatively set to be heard on October 4.

In the meantime, the NEET PG Counselling 2024 schedule is awaited. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will soon release the NEET PG 2024 Counselling Schedule. Candidates should keep an eye on nbe.edu.in or mcc.nic.in for updates on NEET PG 2024 counselling.

The NEET-PG 2024 exam was conducted by the NBE on August 11 and the results were announced on August 23. Following the results, nineteen students filed a petition with the Supreme Court, citing concerns over a lack of transparency in results and last-minute changes in the exam process.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 1 Registration began on September 20, 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can register for the counselling process via the official website, mcc.nic.in.
