All courses in India offer students with good employment opportunities and competitive salaries. The duration of Medical courses in India is determined by the type of course chosen by the candidate. List Of Medical Courses After Class 12th

Bachelor Of Medicine, Bachelor Of Surgery (MBBS)

MBBS is a 5 year UG medical degree which teaches candidates to find treatment and perform surgeries. After pursuing MBBS, candidates are employed as Doctors. Only the students who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible to pursue MBBS. After completing the MBBS programme, candidates will have the opportunity to pursue careers as Physicians in both private and public hospitals. The average salary of MBBS graduates ranges between 2.5 LPA to 15 LPA.

Bachelor Of Dental Surgery (BDS)

Admissions to the Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme are offered based on NEET scores. Candidates aspiring to pursue a BDS degree must appear for the NEET examination. Candidates enrolled in the BDS programme are provided with practical dental surgery training. BDS programme offers a stable career in the private and government sectors. Candidates can either work full time in a Hospital or work in personal Dental clinics.

Bachelor Of Ayurvedic Medicine And Surgery (BAMS)

BAMS is a UG-level medical course with a duration of 5.5 years. To be eligible for this programme, the candidate should have passed Class 12th with at least 50% marks. This programme includes the study of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery for the treatment of Human disorders. BAMS graduates have various career options, which include becoming Ayurvedic Doctors or pursuing PhD programmes in this field.

Bachelor Of Homeopathic Medicine And Surgery (BHMS)

BHMS is one of the most preferred career options after Class 12th. The duration of this course is 5.5 years, where 4.5 years are focused on Academic sessions and the last year is dedicated to an on-field internship. Admissions to various BHMS programmes are made through the Entrance Examination. Candidates are required to pass various state and national examinations to enroll in a BHMS programme.

Bachelor In Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc)

Bachelor In Veterinary Science is a UG programme with a duration of 5.5 years in the field of veterinary science. BVSc subjects include animal nutrition, animal breeding, genetics and animal pathology. Candidates who have completed the BVSC programme can open their clinic to provide consultation to pet owners.

Bachelor Of Physiotherapy (BPT)

BPT is a 4.5-year UG programme which includes 6 months of internship. This programme focuses on physical forces like heat and pressure. BPT course teaches various treatments for chronic pain and injuries. To be eligible for this programme, a candidate must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 50%.
