Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan has started the online registration process for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) November 2024 exam. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in, until November 20. Following the application period, admit cards for the KTET November 2024 exam will be available from January 8, 2025.

The exam will be held on January 18 and 19, 2025 in two shifts each day. The morning shift will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and the afternoon shift from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

KTET is conducted twice yearly to certify eligible candidates for teaching positions in lower primary and upper primary schools across Kerala. General category applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs 500, while candidates from reserved categories must pay Rs 250. The fee payment deadline is also November 20.

Kerala TET 2024 Passing Criteria

For Categories I & II (Lower and Upper Primary Teachers):

General Category: Candidates must score at least 60% overall to pass.

SC/ST/OBC/PH Categories: A minimum score of 55% is required to pass.

For Categories III & IV (High School and Specialized Teachers):

General Category: Candidates applying for high school (Category III) or specialized teacher (Category IV) roles need a minimum of 55% overall to pass.

SC/ST/OBC/PH Categories: A minimum of 50% overall is required to pass.

Minimum Subject-Wise Qualifying Marks
In addition to the overall percentage, all candidates must score at least 40% in each subject to qualify. Meeting the overall percentage alone is insufficient; candidates must achieve 40% in each subject section. Failing to reach this minimum in any subject will result in disqualification, regardless of the overall score.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the KTET November 2024 registration link.

Step 3: Enter your personal details as required to complete the registration process.

Step 4: Log in to your account and fill out the KTET November application form with the necessary information.

Step 5: Upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Submit the form and save a copy for future reference.
