Delhi Judicial Services Exam 2023: Apply By November 22 - Check Selection Process And Qualifying Marks

As per the revised schedule, the Delhi High Court will conduct the Delhi Judicial Services Exam on December 17, 2023 now.

The online application process for the Delhi Judicial Services Exam 2023 is underway. Interested candidates can apply for the Delhi Judicial Services Exam 2023 on the official website - delhihighcourt.nic.in. Candidates will be able to apply for the exam till November 22, 2023. The Delhi High Court is conducting the Delhi Judicial Services Exam 2023 to fill a total of 53 vacancies in the Delhi Judicial Services. 

Interested candidates may note that the online application fee for the Delhi Judicial Services Exam 2023 is Rs 1,500. The application fee for candidates from the reserved categories (SC, ST, PwD) is Rs 400 though. To apply for the exam, candidates must be practicing as an Advocate in India or a person qualified to be admitted as an Advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961. The candidates should also not exceed 32 years of age as of January 1, 2023.

The Delhi High Court will shortlist suitable candidates for the recruitment following a three-stage process: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Viva-Voce. As per the official schedule, the Delhi High Court will conduct the Delhi Judicial Services Preliminary Examination 2023, on December 17, 2023. The exam was previously scheduled to be held on December 10, 2023. The exam will be conducted from 10:00 am to 01:30 pm, and the exam paper will have objective-type questions.

To pass in the Delhi Judicial Services Preliminary Exam 2923, candidates will be required to score a minimum aggregate of 55% in the exam. The Mains Examination shall be a written examination examination, and candidates would be required to score a minimum aggregate of 35% in each of the exam papers, and 45% aggregate marks in the overall examination to clear it. To clear the Viva-Voce, candidates will be required to score a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in the Viva-Voce.
