The State Bank of India (SBI) has started inviting applications for the SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2023. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications for the recruitment on the official website - sbi.co.in. The last date to apply for the recruitment is December 7, 2023. While applying for the SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2023, General/ OBC/ EWS category candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 750. However, SC/ ST/ PwD candidates may note that they are exempted from paying any application fee. 

Notably, the State bank of India is conducting the Junior Associate Recruitment 2023 to fill a total of 8283 Junior Associate/ Clerk (Customer Support and Sales) posts in its various circles/ branches across the country. To apply for the recruitment, interested candidates must have passed their bachelor’s degree for a recognized university or an equivalent degree. Those who are in the final year of their graduation degrees can also apply for the recruitment. Furthermore, to apply for the SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2023, candidates must be aged between 20 to 28 years. 

The shortlisting of candidates for the recruitment shall be done following a Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and specified opted local language. The Preliminary Exam will be conducted in the online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode, and will consist of a total of 100 objective-type questions. Candidates will be allowed a maximum time of 60 minutes to answer all the questions. The questions in the preliminary exam will be based on English language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. 

Those who clear the SBI Junior Associate Preliminary Exam would be further called for the Main Examination, The Main Exam would be conducted in the online node as well, and will consist of a total 190 questions from General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude combined. The maximum marks for the exam shall be 200, and candidates will be given a maximum time limit of 2 hours and 40 minutes to answer all questions. 

As per the official recruitment notification, the SBI is tentatively scheduled to conduct the SBI Junior Associate Preliminary Exam 2023 in January 2024, while the Main Exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in February 2024. The SBI is likely to notify the final dates of the exam and the release of admit cards in due course of time.
