JEE NEET 2020: Rahul Gandhi Urges Centre To Listen To 'Students Ke Mann Ki Baat'

Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has supported students in the matter of JEE NEET 2020. Earlier, Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy had tweeted.

New Delhi: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has come out in support of students - asking the union government to listen to their plight. ALSO READ | JEE NEET 2020: BJP Leader Subramanian Swamy Writes To PM Modi, Lists 13 Reasons For Postponement Of Exams The Wayanad MP took to Twitter on Sunday and wrote, "GOI must listen to the #StudentsKeMannKiBaat about NEET, JEE exams and arrive at an acceptable solution". On Saturday, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia stated that unprecedented steps need to be taken in the times of the unprecedented Covid-19 Crisis. His tweet in Hindi translates to, "The central government is playing with the lives of millions of students in the name of JEE-NEET exam. My request to the Center is to immediately cancel both these exams in the entire country and make alternate arrangements for admission this year. In this time of unprecedented crisis, an unprecedented step will lead to a solution". Earlier, the Supreme Court had dismissed the petition filed by 11 students seeking the postponement of JEE (Main) April 2020 and NEET-Undergraduate examinations due to the rising Covid 19 cases in the country.
