The Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar, has started the online application process for admissions into its PG Programme in Cognitive Science, Society and Culture, for the 2023-24 academic session. Interested candidates can submit their applications by January 25, 2023. Applications are to be made online on the institute's official website - iitgn.ac.in. The online application fee for either of the courses is Rs.150 for SC/ST/PwD candidates and Rs.300 for others. 

The IIT Gandhinagar started offering interdisciplinary MSc Programme in Cognitive Science and MA Programme in Society and Culture in the year 2013 and 2014, respectively. Any candidate with a graduation in any discipline with 55% marks is eligible to apply for these programmes. 

The shortlisting of candidates for the MSc Cognitive Science and MA Society and Culture programmes is done on the basis of a written test followed by an interview. The written test for IIT Gandhinagar MA Society and Culture, and MSc Cognitive Science will be conducted on February 25, 2023, while the interviews will be held on March 18 and 19, 2023. The final result and shortlisting of candidates shall be notified later on the IIT Gandhinagar official website. 

While applications are to be submitted in the online mode only, candidates will be required to furnish a hard copy of the application form with a photograph and all relevant documents (testimonials, certificates, publications, work experience, and research/professional experience) at the time of the interview.
