ICMR JRF Exam 2019: The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh have jointly notified 150 vacancies of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) via ICMR JRF Exam 2019. The notification for ICMR JRF Exam 2019 has been released on its official website – icmr.nic.in, as per which, ICMR will be conducting a National Level JRF Exam 2019 on Sunday, 21st July 2019. ICMR JRF Exam 2019 will be conducted at various examination centres in Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Srinagar (J&K) and Varanasi. The online application process has begun yesterday, i.e. on Tuesday, 23rd April 2019 and candidates can submit their online applications till Saturday, 27th May 2019. Important Dates: Opening date of online application process – 23rd April 2019 Closing date of online application process – 27th May 2019 Closing date for application fee payment – 27th May 2019 Date of ICMR JRF Exam 2019 – Sunday, 21st July 2019 Vacancy Details: Out of total 150 vacancies, 120 fellowships are for work in the field of Biomedical Sciences with emphasis on Life Sciences, while 30 fellowships are for work on Social Sciences like psychology, sociology, home science, statistics anthropology, social work, and public health/health economics. Eligibility Criteria: The applicant must possess an MSc/MA or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/VH/PH) in the subjects mentioned above. Candidates in the final year (2018- 2019) are also eligible to apply. Age limit: The maximum age limit to apply for the ICMR JRF Posts is 28 years as on 30th September 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement.
