GATE COAP 2024 Registration: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) will start the registration process for the GATE 2024 Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP) today, March 18, 2024. Canddiates who appeared for the GATE 2024 Exam and seeking admisions in posgradiate engineering programmes in IITs and jobs in PSUs will be required to register for the GATE 2024 COAP on the official website - iitk.ac.in/coap2024. However, candiates may note that the COAP registration window is not the M.Tech application portal for IITs. Candidates must apply separately for M.Tech admisions in their desired institution through the institututes's official portal and follow the institute-specific admission process. 

"COAP 2024 is not an Application Portal for M.Tech. Admission in any participating institutes. The candidate should apply separately to the respective Institute(s) for M.Tech. admission. Each participating Institute will follow the selection procedure as per the norms and guidelines of the respective Institute. To access and make a decision on the most preferred choice out of the offers (if any) made by participating Institute(s), each candidate should register at COAP," a notice reads on the COAP website in this regard. 

Earlier, the IISC Bangalore released GATE 2024 results on March 16, 2024. Candidates who have successfully cleared their GATE exam will be able to fill out the GATE COAP 2024 registration form. The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is recognized as one of the most esteemed examinations for engineering graduates. Eligible candidates can register for COAP 2024 if their GATE scores are valid. Candidates can check the admission offers by registering on COAP from all the participating IITs and PSUs.

The GATE examination serves as a gateway for students seeking admission to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, as well as Science and Humanities disciplines.
