GATE 2020 Registration: The last date to fill the application form for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) was September 24. However, the candidates who missed the deadline, can still register for the exam. The candidates can submit applications between September 25 and October 1, 2019, but will have to pay a late fee. Interested candidates can submit the application form available on the official website gate.iitd.ac.in. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi will be conducting the GATE on 1, 2, 8 and 9 February. The application fee for SC/ST and women candidates will now have to pay Rs 1,250. About GATE 2020 Exam GATE 2020 exam would be conducted jointly by the IISc (Indian Institute of Science), Bengaluru and the seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee). The exam will be conducted on 1, 2, 8 and 9 February next year. GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects (also referred to as “papers”) and it will be conducted at GATE examination centres in different cities across India as well as in six cities outside India. The examination will be in the form of a Computer Based Test (CBT). The results will be declared on 16 March, 2020.
