CSIR UGC NET December 2023: Things You Need to Know Before Registration

CSIR UGC NET Registration: Interested candidates can apply online at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

The registration process for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 will close today, November 30. Interested candidates can complete their registration for CSIR UGC NET 2023 until 5 pm by visiting the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. Applicants will have the opportunity to make edits to their CSIR UGC NET 2023 application form during the application correction window, which will be open from December 2 to 4, 2023. The CSIR UGC NET 2023 exam is set to be conducted on December 27, 28, and 29.

CSIR UGC NET December 2023 Eligibility

To be eligible for the CSIR NET exam, candidates must hold at least an M.Sc. or an equivalent degree, such as integrated BS-MS, BPharma, MBBS, BTech. Additionally, they should meet the following criteria: a minimum of 55% marks for OBC and general candidates, and 50% for SC and ST candidates.

  • After successful payment, download and print the confirmation page for your records.

The Joint CSIR UGC NET serves as a qualifying exam for Indian nationals seeking Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Lectureship (LS) /Assistant Professor roles in Indian universities and colleges, provided they meet the UGC's eligibility criteria. Applications for JRF/NET are welcomed biannually on an all-India basis through the Joint CSIR-UGC NET press notification for JRF and LS/AP.
