More such ceremonies will be held this year to promote the entire lot of 12,000 personnel, a Central Industrial Security Force spokesperson said. The CISF, only this year, had got sanction from the Home Ministry to undertake a comprehensive cadre review in the about 1.81-lakh personnel strong force. Ranjan said a new cadre for personnel working in the motor transport wing of the force has been created for better promotion opportunities to drivers.
