CBSE lodges FIR against false paper leak claims on YouTube, shares URLs

CBSE has shared a plethora YouTube links trying to misguide students and create confusion alleging Paper Leak of CBSE Board Examinations 2019 for classes X and XII both.

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education has lodged an FIR with Delhi Police to take ‘suitable and strict action’ against unscrupulous person(s) spreading fake news claiming CBSE Board Exams 2019 Paper Leaks on the popular Video Streaming Search Engine – YouTube. “The Board has located a number of uploads available on You Tube falsely claiming to have access to the original question papers of subjects in which examinations are yet to be conducted such as - Accountancy, Chemistry, Geography Class XII, English, Mathematics and Science of Class The papers being shown on these sites have been scrutinized and 100% have been found to be fake” read an important notice uploaded on the official website of CBSE today i.e. 6th March 2019. CBSE has shared a plethora YouTube links trying to misguide students and create confusion alleging Paper Leak of CBSE Board Examinations 2019 for classes X and XII both. The miscreants have used keywords like CBSE Class XII PHYSICS Original Exam Paper Leaked 2019, 2019 XII accounts paper leaked 6th March, LEAKED 2019 CHEMISTRY CBSE BOARD PAPER CLASS – 12, CBSE PAPER LEAK? NCERT, ORIGINAL Exam Paper Leaked 2019, as well as paper leaked cbse. Read CBSE Notice for False Paper Leak Videos Here Apart from filing an FIR, the “CBSE has also requested Delhi Police in writing to take suitable and strict action against miscreants under provisions of IPC and IT Act, so that the sanctity of examinations and several of the board’s security initiatives remain unaffected and exams are conducted in fair and smooth manner” read the advisory further. The Central Board of Secondary Education urged the general public to remain vigilant and stay calm in such an unwanted and unpleasant situation.
