BHU Admission 2023: Banaras Hindu University Begins Registration For UG Admissions On bhuonline.in

BHU Admission 2023 Registration has begun on the official website at bhuonline.in.

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has started the registration process for UG admissions. Interested candidates can submit their applications online on the official website at bhuonline.in. The deadline for online registration for undergraduate programmes is June 27. Eligible students who took the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) in 2023 can apply through the online portal. Applicants are advised to thoroughly review the BHU Information Bulletin 2023, to obtain pertinent information. It is important to carefully read the bulletin before proceeding with the application process.

Students must note that admissions will be granted exclusively to students who have participated in the CUET UG 2023. Last year, the university received an impressive 4.34 lakh applications through CUET, positioning it as the second university to receive such a substantial number of applications.

BHU provides a diverse range of programmes with varying durations. The undergraduate programmes typically span three years, while the postgraduate programmes generally extend over two years. Diploma programmes, on the other hand, can have a duration of either one or two years, depending on the specific diploma programme.

BHU UG Admissions 2023: How To Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website at bhuonline.in.

Step 2: Click on the link that reads ‘Click for Registration’.

Step 3: If you are an existing user then click on 'Log in', otherwise click on 'New registration'.

Step 4: Submit the required details and signup.

Step 5: Now log in with generated credentials and fill out the form.

Step 6: Submit the required documents.

Step 7: Pay the application fees.

Step 8: Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.

Important Instructions For Candidates Before Applying Online:

  • Candidates must safely keep their NTA Application Number. Registration for BHU will be based on the NTA Application Number.
  • Candidate must keep ready a scanned copy(jpeg or pdf) of passport size Photograph, Signature, 10th Marksheet,12th Marksheet, Birth Certificate and Other relevant Documents such as Caste, Income, TC, CC.
  • Candidates must be prepared to pay the registration fee online before filling up the registration form.
  • Candidate's Date of Birth, Gender, Caste (if applicable), and the selection of U.G. Program should be the same as opted in the NTA entrance examination. Any mismatch in information will lead to the cancellation of the candidate’s candidature.  
  • Candidates must read, understand and familiarize themselves with the BHU Information Bulletin and BHU Admission Guidelines before proceeding with the registration.
  • The registration process has several steps, including payment of the registration Fee (Non-refundable) and Preference Entry of Honors subjects.  
  • Candidates must carefully check their age eligibility for the specific courses from the BHU Information Bulletin before applying.  
  • The last date of Registration is June 26, 2023.
