It has been suggested to commuters traveling to the IGI Airport, New Delhi Railway Station, Old Delhi Railway Station, Nizamuddin Railway Station, ISBT, and New Delhi Railway Station to leave with enough time to accommodate any possible delays on the route.
In addition, the traffic police have asked commuters to park only in designated parking lots and urged people to take public transportation to alleviate traffic congestion.
Avoid parking on the side of the road because it slows down traffic flow. The advisory added, "Avoid roadside parking as it causes hindrance to the normal flow of traffic. In case any unusual, unidentified object or person is noticed in suspicious circumstances, information should be given to the police."
