WATCH: Lok Sabha MP Aspirants Flock Temples For Prayers As Their Fate To Be Unsealed Today

BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwal offered prayers at the Gauri Shankar Temple in Delhi in the morning.

As the nation waits for the Lok Sabha election results on Tuesday with bated breath, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is looking forward to a historic third term amid a confident opposition INDIA bloc hoping to take on the ruling NDA.

Meanwhile, a BJP candidate from Chandni Chowk Praveen Khandelwal was seen offering prayers at the Gauri Shankar Temple in Delhi in the morning.

He exuded confidence and said that the BJP is winning at Chandni Chowk as well as all seven seats in Delhi.

"We are winning the Chandni Chowk seat with record votes. BJP is also winning all the seven seats of Delhi with majority ...", he was quoted by ANI.

According to The Indian Express, in the national capital, the exit polls predicted yet another victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on seven Lok Sabha seats while there is a possibility of the I.N.D.I.A bloc inching in close.

Meanwhile, BJP candidate from New Delhi Lok Sabha seat Bansuri Swaraj offered prayers at Birla Mandir in the national capital.

While speaking to ANI, Bansuri Swaraj said, "Bansuri Swaraj says, "...I am completely confident that today the people of India will choose the public welfare policies of BJP, will choose the development policies of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi...I know Teesri Baar Phir Modi Sarkar."

The exit polls have predicted a return for Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA to power at the Centre with a decisive victory. However, the NDA is likely to fall short of its '400 paar' target. However, the saffron party has predicted to outperform its 2019 success and gain even more seats this year. The saffron party is projected to be backed ably by its allies, taking the alliance's tally beyond 350. The BJP alone is projected to win 315 seats, up from its 2019 tally of 303.

Meanwhile, BJP MP and candidate from Gorakhpur, Ravi Kishan offered prayers at Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple in Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh ahead of the counting for Lok Sabha Elections.

According to ANI, BJP candidate from West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, Kamaljeet Sehrawat was quoted as, "Today is a very big day, not just for me but for the whole of Delhi and India. The results of the votes cast by the people will come out today. I hope that the people have blessed us for the work done in the last 10 years..."

The I.N.D.I.A bloc, despite its united front of nearly 25 parties to challenge the BJP-led NDA juggernaut, seems to fall short of its goal and is projected to get at least 152-182 seats.

Congress candidate from Sivaganga Lok Sabha seat Karti Chidambaram offers prayer at the Kali Amman Temple in Karaikudi, Sivaganga district in Tamil Nadu.

The counting day will decide the fate of over 8,000 candidates, of which 16 per cent have been fielded by national parties, and six per cent by state parties.

The voting for the Lok Sabha Elections started on April 19, followed by the second phase on April 26, the third phase on May 7, the fourth phase on May 13, the fifth phase on May 20, the sixth phase on May 25 and the last phase on June 1.
