'Backup Plan To Arrest Kejriwal': AAP Says Delhi CM Asked To Join Probe Linked To Delhi Jal Board By ED
Delhi Minister Atishi said that Arvind Kejriwal has been sent a summons in a new case related to Delhi Jal Board.
The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday that the Enforcement Directorate has issued a summons to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a new case related to the Delhi Jal Board.
Addressing a press conference, Delhi minister and AAP leader Atishi dubbed the case as fake and said that this is a backup plan being initiated to arrest Arvind Kejriwal.
"Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal received another summon yesterday evening by the ED...They have asked him to join some investigation related to Delhi Jal Board...," Atishi said in a press conference.
"We are unaware of the case registered by the ED in this matter...Arvind Kejriwal has been summoned in this fake case," she added.

"...Nobody knows about this Delhi Jal Board matter...These summons are being sent because PM Modi has started doubting whether they will be able to arrest Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Excise matter case...," Atishi said.
"A backup plan is being initiated to arrest Arvind Kejriwal..."

Earlier in the day, quoting party sources, news agency ANI reported that the Enforcement Directorate has opened a new case against Kejriwal.
The development comes the same day when the enforcement agency sent a ninth summons to the AAP chief in a money laundering case linked to the Delhi excise policy case. The ED has asked him to join the investigation on March 21.
