Delhi Minor Rape Case: Accused Sent To Judicial Custody, DCW Chief Writes To Amit Shah. Top Points

A Delhi court sentenced Premoday Khaka, the now-suspended Delhi government officer accused of raping his friend's young daughter for several months, to one day of judicial custody. His wife was also sent to judicial custody. Speaking with ANI, DCP North Sagar Singh Kalsi stated: “The two accused were arrested yesterday before sunset. The wife of the main accused has appeared in the court yesterday and was sent for judicial custody. Today the main accused, Premoday Khakha has also been sent to judicial custody after his appearance in the court... We are analysing the facts came up during investigation. Further investigation is underway."

In the letter, Maliwal demanded that she should be allowed to meet the minor girl or her family, news agency ANI reported. She further demanded that the medical treatment of the girl should be done in AIIMS or a team from AIIMS should see her and an inquiry should be conducted on the delay in the arrest of the accused govt official by Delhi Police.
- Police sources claimed on Tuesday that the juvenile girl raped numerous times by suspended top Delhi government employee Premoday Khakha was drugged before each act of sexual assault and, in one case, woke up with bruises on her body, according to NDTV's report. According to police sources, the young girl, who was 14 at the time, was unhappy when her father died in 2020.
- The girl said Khaka raped her many times between November 2020 and January 2021. The girl said she became pregnant and told the accused official's wife, who reportedly smacked her and gave her abortion pills while threatening not to tell anybody.
- In April 2021, the girl returned to her mother's house, stating that she did not want to be with Khaka's family but without disclosing the sexual assault or abortion. The girl endured anxiety episodes in July and August of this year and was then transported to a city hospital on August 7. During counselling, she accused Khaka and six other persons of sexual abuse.
