Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Vishwas Nagar Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Vishwas Nagar  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of four wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the four wards of the Vishwas Nagar assembly constituency are Preet Vihar, I.P. Extension, Anand Vihar, and Vishwas Nagar.

1. Preet Vihar: In the Vishwas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Preet Vihar is ward number two hundred- four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 52,293. The Preet Vihar (Ward 204) MCD seat is unreserved.

2. I.P. Extension: In the Vishwas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, I.P. Extension is ward number two hundred-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 60,343. The I.P. Extension (Ward 205) MCD seat is reserved for women.

3. Anand Vihar: In the Vishwas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Anand Vihar is ward number two hundred- six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 56,495. The Anand Vihar (Ward 206) MCD seat is unreserved.

4. Vishwas Nagar: In the Vishwas Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Vishwas Nagar is ward number two hundred- seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 53,057. The Vishwas Nagar (Ward 207) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste women.
