Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.
MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Mustafabad Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of five wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the five wards of the Mustafabad assembly constituency are Karawal Nagar- East, Dayalpur, Mustafabad, Nehru Vihar, Brij Puri.
1. Karawal Nagar- East: In the Mustafabad Delhi assembly constituency, Karawal Nagar- East is ward number two hundred forty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 65474. The Karawal Nagar- East (Ward 241) MCD seat is reserved for women.
2. Dayalpur: In the Mustafabad Delhi assembly constituency, Dayalpur is ward number two hundred forty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 54,188. The Dayalpur (Ward 242) MCD seat is unreserved.
3. Mustafabad: In the Mustafabad Delhi assembly constituency, Mustafabad is ward number two hundred forty-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,586. The Mustafabad (Ward 243) MCD seat is reserved for women.
