MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

2. Delhi Gate: In the Matia Mahal Delhi assembly constituency, Delhi Gate is ward number seventy-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 55,397. The Delhi Gate (Ward 77) MCD seat is reserved for Schedule Caste women.
