MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Madipur Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Madipur assembly constituency are Punjabi Bagh, Madipur, and Raghubir Nagar.

1. Punjabi Bagh: In the Madipur Delhi assembly constituency, Punjabi Bagh is ward number ninety-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 69,946. The Punjabi Bagh (Ward 92) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Madipur: In the Madipur Delhi assembly constituency, Madipur is ward number ninety-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 71,727. The Madipur (Ward 93) MCD seat is reserved for Schedule Caste.

3. Raghubir Nagar: In the Madipur Delhi assembly constituency, Raghubir Nagar is ward number ninety-four in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 78,369. The Raghubir Nagar (Ward 94) MCD seat is reserved for Schedule Caste women.
