Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Greater Kailash Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

Greater Kailash Assembly Constituency Wards*

In the Greater Kailash  Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Greater Kailash assembly constituency are Chitaranjan Park, Chirag Delhi, and Greater Kailash.

1. Chitaranjan Park: In the Greater Kailash Delhi assembly constituency, Chitaranjan Park is ward number one hundred seventy-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 62,940. The Chittaranjan Park (Ward 171) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Chirag Delhi: In the Greater Kailash Delhi assembly constituency, Chirag Delhi is ward number one hundred seventy-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 74,850. The Chirag Delhi (Ward 172) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Greater Kailash: In the Greater Kailash Delhi assembly constituency, Greater Kailash is ward number one hundred seventy-three in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 47,763. The Greater Kailash  (Ward 173) MCD seat is reserved for women.
