Delhi MCD Polls 2022: Bijwasan Assembly Constituency Wards After Delimitation — Check Details

Delhi MCD Election 2022: Civic polls are scheduled in Delhi on December 4 to elect 250 councillors of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Votes will be counted and results will be declared on December 7.

MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Bijwasan Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of five wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the five wards of the Bijwasan assembly constituency are Dwarka-c, Bijwasan, Kapashera, Mahipalpur, and Raj Nagar.

1. Dwarka-c: In the Bijwasan Delhi assembly constituency, Dwarka-c is ward number one hundred-and-thirty in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 45,075. The Dwarka-c (Ward 130) MCD seat is reserved for women.

2. Bijwasan: In the Bijwasan Delhi assembly constituency, Bijwasan is ward number one hundred-and-thirty-one in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 47,291. The Bijwasan (Ward 131) MCD seat is unreserved.

3. Kapashera: In the Bijwasan Delhi assembly constituency, Kapashera is ward number one hundred-and-thirty-two in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 74,073. The Kapashera (Ward 132) MCD seat is reserved for women.
