AAP 'Maha Rally' Big Flop, A Failed Attempt To Hide Kejriwal Govt's Corruption: Delhi BJP

The saffron hit out at AAP over its 'Maha' Rally while terming it a "big flop" and said that it was nothing but a "failed attempt to hide corruption".

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) took a jibe at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday over its 'Maha' Rally against the Centre's ordinance on control of services in the national capital. The saffron party claimed that the AAP rally was a "big flop" and it was nothing but a "failed attempt to hide corruption". The leaders from the BJP hit out at the Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, by talking about the Delhi Excise Policy case and the alleged corruption that he did in "making his palace".

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva said, "This is not a grand rally of AAP but a failed attempt to hide corruption. Today Kejriwal should tell the public why he wasted public money on building his palace? Kejriwal should tell the public why he mixed the poison of drugs in Delhi?"

BJP Delhi shared a purported clip from the AAP "maha rally" alleging that it was a "big flop". "The public has also come to know that Kejriwal, you are so cunning. The chairs are lying vacant. The people of Delhi have told that they will not fall for your lies now."

Party leader Manoj Tiwari took a dig at the party's name saying that it's no more the Aam Aadmi Party, but has now become "Khaas Aadmi Party".

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla while talking about the 'Maha' Rally said, "Today everyone is saying that (Arvind) Kejriwal is forced to come to the Ramlila Ground because his objective is to save corruption in the guise of fighting against the ordinance (Centre’s ordinance on control of services in Delhi)."

Meanwhile, taking a veiled jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kejriwal during the rally said that they have gathered there to "defeat an arrogant dictator". He said that the stage of Ramlila Maidan is pious as 12 years back several people united there against corruption and today they have "to remove a dictator".
