Caught On Camera: Drunk Men Flash Guns On Ghaziabad Elevated Road. Police Register Case

The accused blocked the elevated road in Ghaziabad to drink and displayed weapons while dancing. 

New Delhi: Ghaziabad police have taken cognizance of the recent viral video where 4 to 5 people were seen drinking alcohol in the middle of a road flashing weapons. After the video went viral on social media, the Assistance Commissioner of Police (ACP), Indirapuram, said that the police have identified the car owner and a preliminary probe is underway.

ACP said the car in the viral video has been identified and it belongs to Raja Choudhary, a resident of Chiranjiv Vihar. A case has been registered against him and others involved in the incident at the Indirapuram police station.

"The video which is going viral on social media, around 4-5 men with a Fortuner car were seen blocking the road and drinking alcohol. Along with this, they were also seen displaying weapons. We immediately took cognizance of the video, and during the investigation, we found that the Fortuner car belongs to Raja Choudhary, a resident of Chiranjiv Vihar. We have registered a case against Choudhary and his accomplices. Further legal action is being taken,” said the ACP (Indirapuram).

In the purported video, a group of men was seen carrying guns, drinking alcohol and dancing in the middle of the elevated road in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. They were standing outside a Fortuner car while drinking alcohol on the street and dancing. In the viral video, one of the accused can be seen dancing with two rifles dangling by his neck.

The elevated road in which the incident took place in Ghaziabad is a 10 km road, which connects Raj Nagar Extension to UP Gate at the border with Delhi.
