Body Of Mumbai Air Hostess Found In Suspicious Condition. Murder Case Lodged, Probe On
The dead body of an air hostess was found from a flat in Mumbai's Powai area. The police has booked a case of murder and investigation into the case.
The dead body of an air hostess was found in a suspicious condition at a flat in Mumbai’s Powai area. The corpse was found on Monday night at a flat in NG Housing Society located on Marwah road under the limits of Powai police station, said Deputy Commissioner of Police Datta Nalwade. The police reached the spot and did the ‘panchnama’ of the corpse after which it was sent for post-mortem. A case of murder has been registered and four teams have been constituted to nab the accused.
The police said it was investigating the case from every angle including who this woman was, from when and why she was living alone in the flat, her occupation, and the reason behind the murder.
The deceased woman was identified as Rupal Agare (25) who hailed from Raipur in Chhattisgarh and was recently selected as trainee air hostess with Air India.
The police are examining the phone of the victim girl and the CCTV installed in the building.
A similar incident happened in Tamil Nadu where bodies of four members of a family were found in Kallakinar village in Tiruppur. A police force was deployed in the area following the incident. According to news agency ANI, the police have registered a case under Section 302 of the IPC at Palladam police station.

The deceased included two women, who were hacked to death allegedly by three persons due to previous enmity, at Palladam in the district, as reported by news agency PTI citing police. The relatives and friends of the deceased declined to accept the bodies till all the culprits were brought to book.
The kin of the deceased staged a demonstration at Palladam in support of their demand. Senior police officials rushed to the spot to pacify them.
As per the PTI report, one person was detained in connection with the matter.
The deceased, identified as Senthil Kumar, his mother Pushpavathi, cousin Mohan and another relative Rathinambal, were found dead with several cut injuries on their bodies near the house located close to Senthil Kumar's shop in Kallakinaru, Palladam, said police.
