Maharashtra News: Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, who represents Baramati in the Maharashtra Assembly, got irritated after his supporters flooded him with letters on various issues during his visit to the constituency on Sunday.

Cabinet minister Sanjay Shirsat defended Pawar and said, "Sometimes, when elected representatives are working, some voters keep insisting on certain issues, but the elected representative's comments are highlighted whereas the behaviour of voters is not talked about anywhere."
Sharad Pawar-led NCP leader Jitendra Awhad criticised Ajit Pawar, saying voters are supreme in democracy. "He (Ajit) needs to know that in democracy, voters are supreme," Awhad said.
