Six College Students Killed, 1 Injured After Truck Collides With Their Car In Dehradun
Seven private college students were in the car, of which three boys and three girls, died on the spot while one is in critical condition.
Six individuals were killed and one was seriously injured when their car collided with a truck in Uttarakhand’s Dehradun. The accident happened near the ONGC intersection at 2 am on Tuesday.
According to an IANS report, seven private college students were in the car, of which three boys and three girls, died on the spot. The injured student was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The deceased and injured were reportedly from Delhi and Himachal Pradesh. The deceased were identified as Guneet, 19, Kamakshi, 20, Navya Goyal, 23, Rishabh Jain, 24, Kunal Kukreja 23, Atul Agarwal, 24. The injured was identified as Siddhesh Agarwal, a resident of Dehradun.
As per the initial report, the truck had rammed into the Innova car with a lot of force almost destroying the vehicle. However, the truck's driver fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. However, the police later said that the driver of the truck was arrested, as per ANI.
Upon receiving the information, the police swiftly arrived at the scene and retrieved the bodies from the severely damaged car. Bodies of five students were transported to Doon Hospital, while one was taken to Mahant Indresh Hospital. Parts of the mangled car had to be cut so the authorities could reach the injured victim.
'Etah Bus Falls Into Ditch'
In another incident, at least 12 people were injured when a bus which was carrying a wedding procession fell into the ditch near the village of Gulabpur in the Etah district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident occurred at about 10 pm on Monday.
According to a PTI report, locals and police rescued those injured and rushed them to the medical college in Etah. Chief Medical Officer of Etah, Dr Umesh Tripathi told PTI, the condition of the injured is said to be stable.
