Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has pledged to restore as many temples as possible in Sambhal.

While speaking to news agency ANI, Yogi said, "The authorities have till now identified more than 54 pilgrimage sites in city and are searching for the rest". He added, "The scientific evidence is present. We are showing where they are, and will address them one by one."

The UP CM said that important sites of Sanatan Hindu Dharma are symbols of India's inheritance.

Yogi said, as quoted by ANI, "Whatever it is, we will find it. We will show the world. Those whom God has given eyes, let them see. What happened in Sambhal? Sambhal is the truth."

What Yogi Said About Mathura Mosque Dispute?

On Mathura row, the UP CM said that they are following the court's order.

He said, "...We are following the orders of the court or by now else a lot would have happened there...Why should I not raise the issue of Mathura? Isn't Mathura the birthplace of Shri Krishna....?"

Responding to criticism over his government's bulldozer actions, Yogi said that some people need to be 'explained in the language they understand.'
