The main accused in this case is Monojit Mishra. He is a former student of the college and has been the president of the unit of Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad (TMCP).

A horrific incident of gang rape of a law student has come to light in West Bengal. The Kolkata police have arrested three people, including two current students and one former student of the college, involved in this brutality. This incident is said to have happened between 7.30 pm and 10.50 pm on June 25.

According to the FIR lodged on the complaint of the victim, the main accused in this case is Monojit Mishra. He is a former student of the college and has been the president of the unit of Trinamool Congress Chhatra Parishad (TMCP). Apart from this, the FIR also names two more accused, Zaib Ahmed and Pramit Mukherjee.

The woman said in her complaint that the main accused, Monojit Mishra, put pressure on her for marriage. When the victim told him that she had a boyfriend, the accused threatened to harm him as well and implicate her parents in false cases. The accused locked the victim's boyfriend inside the college and beat him up.

The victim's complaint said, "The accused tried to force me to have sex with him. I refused and pushed him back. I cried and asked him to let me go. I told him that I have a boyfriend and I love him very much, but he did not listen to me."

The victim said, "I held their feet to let me go, but they did not listen. I started panicking and had trouble breathing. I asked them to take me to the hospital, but they did not listen to me. They forcibly took me to the guard room and gang-raped me."

The victim said in the complaint, "The accused also recorded the video of this entire incident. He threatened me that if I did anything outside, he would show this video to everyone. When I was trying to get out of the room, they tried to hit me with a hockey stick. I want justice."
