Shefali Jariwala's Death Linked To Suspected Cardiac Arrest From Self-Medication; Police Rule Out Foul Play
Shefali Jariwala had been taking anti-ageing treatments and medications without medical supervision, which may have contributed to her death.

The sudden demise of actress and model Shefali Jariwala has left many searching for answers. While her post-mortem report is yet to provide a conclusive cause of death, sources in the Mumbai Police suggest that self-medication may have triggered a cardiac arrest. Police have so far found no evidence of foul play.
Police officials said that doctors at Cooper Hospital haven’t given an official statement yet, but have informally suggested that Shefali Jariwala may have suffered a cardiac arrest due to self-medication.
So far, the police have recorded statements from 12 individuals, including Shefali's husband, Parag Tyagi and her parents. All testimonies confirm that Shefali had been taking various medications without medical consultation. Her family has not raised any suspicions against anyone.
During the investigation, police recovered several medicines from Shefali’s refrigerator and drawer. These include glutathione capsules, Pan DSR, skin whitening capsules, and high-dose anti-ageing injections. Sources allege that Shefali had been taking some of these medications without a doctor’s prescription.
A domestic help at Shefali’s residence revealed in her statement that the actress ate leftover fried rice from the fridge following a Satyanarayan puja on June 27.
Authorities are awaiting the final post-mortem and viscera report to draw a final conclusion.
