RG Kar News Today: The mother of a junior doctor who was raped and murdered at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital expressed her anguish, stating that Mamata Banerjee would not understand her pain.
RG Kar News Today: Expressing her anguish, the mother of the junior doctor who was raped and murdered on the premises of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital has said Mamata Banerjee would not understand her pain as the Bengal CM is not a mother herself. Speaking to ABP News on Friday, the distraught mother said: "She [Mamata Banerjee] is not a mother herself. I know what my daughter was to me. I know what I have lost."
She further said that she did not care whether the CBI investigated the case or the state, she only wanted justice for her daughter. Mamata Banerjee in her Mayo Road speech on August 28 said that she met the parents of the victim on August 12 and sought to understand their demands.
"I went with the police commissioner to meet them. Before that, the investigating officer in the case showed them all the video recordings and CCTV footage. I just requested them to give me five days," Mamta Banerjee said. The 31-year-old doctor was killed on August 9 and the investigation was transferred to the CBI on August 13 after the parents of the victim filed a petition with the Calcutta High Court.
It has been over two weeks but @CBIHeadquarters has failed to show any progress in their investigation.

Mamata said: "They do not want justice. They sabotaged the case. Sixteen days have passed. Where is the justice?"
Reacting to the Chief Minister's comments, the victim's mother said, "She meant us, the parents and the protesters. Shall we not seek justice?"
