RG Kar News Update: Doctors from the CBI team said that Sanjay Roy, the accused in the Kolkata doctor's rape and murder, was smiling throughout his psychometric evaluation.
Kolkata Doctor Case Updates: The doctors who conducted the psychological test of Sanjoy Roy, the accused in the Kolkata doctor's rape and murder are shocked with the results of the evaluation, sources in the Central Bureau of Investigation [CBI] said. According to the CBI sources, Sanjay Roy, who allegedly raped and then murdered a junior doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, is a person with a sexually perverted mentality. Kolkata Police sources had earlier found that he was addicted to porn and his mobile phone was full of such videos.
According to CBI sources, while answering the five doctors who conducted the psychological test, Sanjay Roy told them in detail about the August 9 incident. Sanjay Roy apparently felt no remorse while describing the brutality he allegedly inflicted upon the victim. In fact, the accused smiled on many occasions while answering.
Sanjay Roy Suffering From Satyriasis
CBI asked Sanjay Roy important questions about his personal life during the psychological evaluation. Among the queries were those pertaining to Sanjay Roy's multiple marriages and the violent porn videos found on his mobile phone.
During the test, Sanjay Roy also said that he often used to visit the red light areas. However, he remained vague on the question of whether he visited a red light area on the day of the incident. Sanjay Roy, though, admitted to have had watched porn videos on the day of the incident, according to the CBI sources.
They further said that Sanjay Roy blurted out everything about the brutality in detail. According to the doctors, Sanjay Roy could be suffering from Satyriasis — a mental condition in men marked by hypersexuality. Hypersexuality is a mental disorder that can cause excessive or uncontrollable sexual desire in men. It is considered the male counterpart to nymphomania, which refers to a similar condition in women. People suffering from the condition tend to engage in or think about sexual activities, even causing distress or impairment in some cases.
