Reliance Industries' 'Teerth Yatri Seva' initiative offers free meals, medical aid, transportation, and connectivity to millions of pilgrims at the Maha Kumbh 2025 in Prayagraj.

With millions of devotees gathering in Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh 2025, Reliance Industries Limited has launched ‘Teerth Yatri Seva’ to assist pilgrims during the Maha Kumbh 2025. The initiative, guided by the company’s ‘We Care’ philosophy, aims to provide essential services such as free meals, healthcare, safe transportation, and enhanced connectivity.
Anant Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited, highlighted the initiative, stating, “It is said that when we serve Teerth Yatris, we too are blessed. Our services for pilgrims undertaking this spiritual journey, in a once-in-a-millennium event, aim to support the most vulnerable among them.” He further added, “We believe in our ‘We Care’ philosophy. At the Maha Kumbh, the world's largest religious and cultural congregation, it is our opportunity to serve, to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of lakhs of pilgrims while making their journey safer, smoother, and easier.”
As part of the initiative, Reliance is providing pilgrims with free hot meals and drinking water daily through its Anna Seva programme. Volunteers have been stationed at various akharas to serve food and assist devotees throughout their journey, as per a statement.
Reliance Foundation has established 24x7 medical care facilities, including separate wards for men and women, OPDs, and dental services. The organisation is also distributing free sanitary napkins to women pilgrims, recognising their specific needs during the event.
For elderly devotees and those with mobility challenges, Reliance has deployed electric vehicles and golf carts within the Kumbh Mela grounds. Additionally, special transportation services have been arranged from Prayagraj to the Sangam, ensuring easy access to the sacred confluence for all attendees.
In collaboration with the district administration, Reliance has introduced enhanced safety measures for those venturing into the sacred rivers. Life jackets are being provided to pilgrims, boatmen, and Jal Police personnel to prevent accidents and ensure a secure experience in the waters.
For those seeking a place to rest, Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has established Campa Ashrams, offering designated rest zones where pilgrims can relax and rejuvenate during their spiritual journey.
Reliance has installed clear directional boards with readable signage throughout the Maha Kumbh venue, helping devotees to navigate the area easily.
