Noida News: Ahead of SEMICON 2024, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be speaking, the Noida police issued traffic advisory for commuters. Check the advisory below.
Noida news: The Noida police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory for the commuters as Semicon India Exposition Mart is set to take place at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida. As per the advisory, heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles will be prohibited on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and around the venue from 7 am to 10 am.
Vehicles carrying essential commodities like milk, vegetables, fruits, and medicines will be allowed to enter under no-entry directions.
The police have suggested an alternate route for the commuters entering the city from various exit points from Delhi.

Vehicles entering from Delhi state through Chilla Red Light (Border) and going elsewhere should take a U-turn from Chilla Red Light and go towards their destination via National Highway-09/24 via NH-91 and Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the advisory stated.
Commuters from DND (Border) and going elsewhere will be able to take a U-turn from DND Toll Plaza and move towards their destination via NH-09/24 via NH-91 and Eastern Peripheral Expressway.
Vehicles entering from Delhi state through Kalindi Kunj Yamuna (Border) and going elsewhere will be able to go towards their destination via NH-09/24, Eastern Peripheral Expressway and NH-91, the advisory added.
About SEMICON India 2024
SEMICON India 2024 is being organised at the India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh from September 11 to 13. The theme of the event is "Shaping the Semiconductor Future".
The three-day confernece will showcase India's semiconductor strategy and policy which envisions making India a global hub for semiconductors, said the Prime Minister's Office in a statement.
More than 250 exhibitors and 150 speakers will participate in the three-day conference.
Top leadership of global semiconductor giants will be among the participants at the conference which will will bring together global leaders, companies, and experts from the semiconductor industry, the statement said.
