15 Dead, Including 3 Children, In New Delhi Railway Station Stampede, 10 Injured: LNJP Hospital
A stampede at New Delhi Railway Station resulted in the deaths of 15 individuals, including three children, as confirmed by Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital authorities.

At least 15 people died including three children in the stampede that broke out at New Delhi Railway Station, said authorities at Lok Nayak Jai Prakash hospital. Chief Casualty Medical Officer at LNJP Hospital said 15 people, including 3 children, lost their lives. 10 others are injured in the incident that occurred at New Delhi railway station, the officer added.
A stampede broke out at Saturday night on New Delhi Railway Station as passengers waited for their Prayagraj bound trains to take part in Maha Kumbh Mela. Delhi Fire Services said it received complaints of a "stampede-like" sitauation at New Delhi Railway Station while earlier, the Railways and Delhi police ruled out the occurence of a stampede.
Soon ambulanaces lined up outside the railway station ferrying injured passengers to LNJP hospital while many passengers claimed that they saw people being killed or someone from their family died.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was distressed by the news and expressed grief over loss of lives. "Distressed by the stampede at New Delhi Railway Station. My thoughts are with all those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured have a speedy recovery. The authorities are assisting all those who have been affected by this stampede," said PM Modi in a post on X.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh also took to X to express condolence. "Devastating news from New Delhi Railway Station. I am extremely pained by the loss of lives due to stampede on Railway platform. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. Praying for the speedy of the injured," Singh said on X.
