13 Arrested, 8 FIRs Lodged In Mhow Violence Case. Police Identify Over 100 Miscreants
Police in Madhya Pradesh arrested 13 and filed 8 FIRs following stone-pelting during a victory celebration for the Indian cricket team.

The police have arrested 13 people and lodged 8 FIRs in connection with the stone-pelting incident in Madhya Pradesh's Mhow.
On Sunday, clashes had broken out in this Madhya Pradesh town after a rally celebrating the victory of Indian cricket team in the ICC Champions Trophy was pelted with stones.
Police personnel were deployed in the area following the clashes after which the situation was brought under control.
Nimish Agarwal, Deputy Inspector General Rural, said the situation is normal adding that they are monitoring social media as well.
"We have lodged 8 FIRs in connection to the incident and 13 people have been arrested...We have identified more than 100 miscreants," Agarwal said while speaking to reporters.
"The situation is normal and we are committed to ensuring peace in the area...We are also monitoring social media and action is being taken accordingly...," he added.
According to Indore Collector Ashish Singh, four people were injured in the clashes. As per the police, there were five incident of violence in different areas of the town located in Indore district, and three cars and several two-wheelers were attacked and set afire.

Clash Started Near Mosque
Speaking about the reason behind the incidents, the collector said that it started from near a mosque where those already taking out a procession had some dispute with another group, following which they manhandled each other.
The procession was taken out from different areas, said the collector, adding that later one of the groups had a dispute with others over the bursting of firecrackers, as per the initial reports, he said.
Singh further said that who all are responsible for the incident will be clear after a probe.
"Peace is restored in the area at present. Nobody will be spared and stringent action will be taken against those responsible for it (violence)," he said.
