In a horrifying incident, five members of a family, including a husband, wife, and their three daughters, were found murdered on Thursday in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut.

The incident took place in in Sohail Garden which comes under Lisadi Gate police station area. Of the five people who were murdered, four bodies were found inside the bed box in the house, while one body was found outside.

The deceased have veen identified as Moin, his wife Asma, and their three daughters Afsa (8), Aziza (4), and Adiba (1). According to the police, Moin used to work as a mason. His body was found outside while his wife's and daughters' bodies were found in the bed, which makes it look like that the perpetrators wanted to hide the bodies, adding to the crime's brutality.

The police rushed to the spot as soon as they received information about the incident and reached the crime spot to conduct investigation along with forensic team. The house has been cordoned off to enure no evidence is touched.

The police have urged anyone with information to come forward and help with the probe. The forensic team meanwhile is searching for clues to understand the motive behind the gruesome act, news agency IANS reported.

UP Man Kills Money-Lender To Avoid Repaying Rs 60,000, 3 Held 

In another incident in UP, a man killed a money lender in Bijnor to avoid repaying a loan of Rs 60,000. The incident took place in Sherkot's Noorpur Chhipri village. 

The incident was brought to light after a resident of the village filed a missing complaint for his brother Pramod on Wednesday after he went to Dhampur a day before but did not return, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dharam Singh Marchhal told news agency PTI.

The police investigations further led to the arrest of Vipin, Jayveer, and Than Singh. During interrogation, Vipin confessed that he had hatched a plan along with his accomplices to kill Pramod as he was demanding repayment of the money he had lent.

The ASP said that the accused lured Pramod from Dhampur into a car on Tuesday, intoxicated him, and then strangled him to death with a rope on the Syohara road. They then buried the body in Than Singh's field.

The police have recovered Pramod's body, the rope used to strangle him, a shovel, and the car from the spot. Further investigations are underway.
