Haryana BJP Leader Shot Dead In Sonipat On Holi Over Land Dispute, CCTV Footage Emerges

BJP leader Surendra Jawahra Shot Dead: BJP leader and Mundlana Mandal President Surendra Jawahra was shot dead on Friday (March 14), Holi, in Sonipat, Haryana. Late at night, Jawahra was allegedly shot dead by a neighbour in his village. The incident is believed to have been the result of a land dispute.

The accused fired three rounds, killing Surendra Jawahra. The Sadar Thana police are investigating the entire matter. A CCTV footage of the incident has also emerged.

Jawahra played Holi with his family and party workers. Around 9 PM on Friday, when he returned home, his neighbour allegedly started an argument with him and chased him armed with a pistol.

To save his life, Jawahra entered a shop the accused fired three rounds at him, which killed the BJP leader. His body is now kept at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Women's Medical College Hospital in Khanpur Kalan for post-mortem examination.
