A decomposed body of a woman, aged surrounding 35-40 years, was found wrapped in a blanket inside a bed box in a flat in the Shahdara area of Delhi on Friday. The house owner, identified as Vivekanand Mishra, aged between 55-60 years, has been detained and is currently being questioned. The woman's identity remains unknown, police said.

Police stated that following a foul smell coming from a DDA Flat in the area, a PCR call was received at Vivek Vihar Police Station. Wife, Mother-in-law Arrested For Real Estate Agent's Murder In Bengaluru

Days after a 37-year-old real estate agent was found murdered near an under-construction building in BGS Layout, police arrested his wife and mother-in-law in connection with the crime on March 25, 2025.

According to a report by PTI, authorities confirmed on Tuesday that Yashasvini (19) and her mother, Hema Bhai (37), were taken into custody on Monday for the murder of Lokanath Singh, which occurred in Soladevanahalli on March 22.

Yashasvini had married Singh a few months ago against her parents’ wishes. However, after learning about his extramarital affair, conflicts arose between them, leading her to move back to her parental home.

Singh allegedly pressured her to return and harassed her family over the issue. He even threatened her, claiming that if she refused to come back, he would take her mother instead, police officials stated.
