Delhi Man Kills Friend With Brick During Brawl Over Rs 400 In Shahdara, Arrested
A man was beaten to death in Delhi after he an argument with his friend over Rs 400 for liquor turned violent in Shahdara. He has now been arrested by the Delhi Police.
Delhi: A man was beaten to death by his friend in Anand Vihar in Delhi's Shahdara district after an argument between them over Rs 400 for liquor turned ugly.
According to Delhi Police, the deceased, identified as Nirala, was attacked by his friend Ankit, with a brick, leaving him unconscious. Ankit ran away and left his friend bleeding on the spot. Later, Nirala succumbed to his injuries.
After committing the crime, the accused admitted himself to a de-addiction center to stay out of trouble and avoid police from getting suspicious. However, when the Delhi Police initiated an investigation and carried out technical analyses, it was found out that Ankit had attacked Nirala.
The police also analysed over 150 CCTV footages and got concrete evidence against Ankit. He was then nabbed from the de-addiction center, following which he confessed to the crime. He also admitted to have used the stolen money for buying more alcohol, Delhi Police said.
Man Stabbed To Death In Vikaspuri, Friend Flees Spot To Save Himself
In another incident, a man was stabbed to Death in Vikaspuri, Delhi on October 15. The police suspected that Sanjay, the victim, was in the area with his friend Manish, when they got into a brawl with some local residents.
The argument turned violent and Sanjay ended up getting beaten up badly. He as also reportedly stabbed during the fight. However, his friend managed to flee the spot, leaving his injured friend behind.
40-Yr-Old Dies After Assault By 3 Men, 1 Arrested
A 30-year-old man suspected to be involved in a case with his friend was arrested by the police on Monday night. He had allegedly beaten a 40-year-old man outside his shop near Govindpuram on October 10, who passed away the following morning.
The victim was returning from a market in the area when he was assaulted outside a beer shop. The suspect, Manish Kumar, was shot at and injured during a checking operation by a police team. After his arrest, he also identified two other suspects Bunty Singh and Vicky Kumar, who are now absconding. Further investigation is underway and efforts are on to nab them as well, Hindustan Times reported.
