Delhi Man Beaten To Death After He Complains About Loud Music During New Year Celebration

The year 2025 turned tragic for a family in Delhi after an argument over loud music during New Year's eve celebrations late night led to the death of a man.
Dharmender, a 40-year-old resident of Rohini South, was beaten to death by his neighbours after an argument over loud music escalated into a violent clash. According to police, the incident took place at around 1 AM on December 31, when a complaint regarding high music volume was received.
The argument eventually turned violent with two brothers Piyush Tiwari (21) and Kapil Tiwari (26) brutally assaulting Dharmender and his brother for complaining about loud music.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries. He was declared brought dead at the Baba Saheb Ambedkar Medical College and Hospital. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Dharmender is survived by his wife and three children.
Man Beaten To Death Over Loud Music At New Year's Eve Party In Thane
In a similar incident, a man from Thane, Maharashtra was beaten to death during an argument over playing loud music during New Year's eve celebration. The incident took place on the night of December 31 at a MHADA housing complex in the Kashmira area, PTI reported citing a police official.
Raja Pariar (24) and another person Vipul Rai were beaten up allegedly by residents of the complex over loud DJ music. One of the victim, Pariar, died in a Mumbai hospital on Thursday, January 2, while Rai remains hospitalised.
"Pariar died today at a Mumbai hospital. Rai is still hospitalised. We have detained a few persons in this connection," the official said.
The Kashimira police station official added that further probe into the case is underway.
In another incident, a 36-year-old man was shot dead during a fight over loud music between two tenants in Mohan Nagar area, Dwarka in October last year.
